VEFlowers: Sarah & Rob's wedding flowers at Brasted's, Norfolk

Sarah and I had been planning her wedding flowers over the last few months and as the day got closer it was great to start working on the preparations for the designs. It was really nice to get to know Sarah and Rob and this really helped to ensure that their flowers really suited them. We had a good few laughs too! She'll know what they are when she reads this!

They got married at Brasted's near Norwich which is an award-winning restaurant, wedding venue and boutique B&B http://www.brasteds.co.uk/. The venue was really lovely, particularly the room they chose for the ceremony and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

The theme of the wedding was white and green, with a touch of blue, which meant that there was some great flowers to work with. I provided Sarah and Rob with their bridal bouquet; bridesmaids bouquet; buttonholes; corsages; registry table arrangement; 9 table arrangements - 5 for the wedding breakfast tables and 4 further table decorations; flowers for the cake; small bundles of foliage, herbs and flowers for place settings/favours; a couple of vases and some decorated willow hearts. Thanks to my mum Elaine for the support she provided both preparing the flowers ahead of the day and setting up at the venue.
